A review on accommodation:

1) Young & Happy Youth Hostel, Marrakech - Right in the city centre though a distance from the bus stop. It is pretty safe and empty in this area, right next to a palace so there are always military guards around the area. Wifi is pretty good and pretty abundant on showering facilities.

Getting around the city centre of Marrakech is simple though you may need a map around the souks. Try to avoid eye contact with anyone on the streets as there are many con artists disguised as helpful locals or even little children. Be very vigilant and conscious of your surroundings and always check if someone is following you. Try to eat in more expensive restaurants for a safer environment. Buy a cheap data sim card from a Telecom shop to ensure that you know where you are at all times. Do not recommend travelling alone in Morocco.
