A review on accommodation:

1) Menninger Hotel München - One stop away from the Central Train Station. It is equipped with kitchen and a bar. Good wifi signal and you can even rent a bike from them. The bad this is that the bar might get quite noisy at times during the night due tot he loud music.

Travelling around Munich is simple and most places of interest are within walking distance. The transport system in Munich is very punctual but slightly expensive. But do note that if you get an opera or ballet ticket, there is unlimited free travel! Just show the train conductors your concert tickets.
