A review on accommodations:

1) H2O Hostel, Ljubjana, Slovenia - About 10 minutes walk to the bus station and a distance away from amenities, but there is a bakery shop nearby. The wifi is extremely horrid, no signal at all. You could only get a signal if you stand infront of the room’s door. The shower area is small and badly lit, with no place to hang your towels or clothes. Limited power plugs. Good kitchen facilities.

Getting around the Bratislava is very simple, tourist attractions are in walking distance, but there isn’t much to see. Bus and train rides are accessible and on time, reaching to many places in Ljubjana, Croatia, and Germany.

2) Patio Hostel, Bratislava, Slovakia - 15 minutes walk from the station. Basic hostel, but showering facilities are rather spacious. Good wifi.

Getting around Bratislava is very simple and all tourist attractions are in walkable distance.

3) Ubytovanie Zuzana Guesthouse, Slovakia - Very friendly staff who would recommend hiking trails and places to explore in Slovak Paradise. Have to double-check on the room you booked as mine was apparently “double-booked” and they shifted me to another room with no private bath. However, the staff was kind enough to let me use the private bath since the other guests did not turn up. About 10 minutes walk from the train station and 15 minutes walk to the nearest Tesco. Well equipped kitchen, good wifi and extremely cozy.
