Review of accommodation:
1) Ramada Hotel Zurich - A 4-star hotel located at Badenerstrasse, takes about 20 minutes on the tram to get to Zurich Hauptbahnhof, Central Train Station. Did not have enough time to check out the other facilities that the hotel offers, but reviews of this hotel are excellent. Maybe it’s because the room I got was in the corner, the wifi signal is so poor that I had to sit at the reception area to be able to use the internet. The staff are excellent and helpful. Do check your bank account after the trip as they might ‘accidentally’ charge something extra to your card. But do not worry, they will reply your emails and refund the money promptly.
Travelling in Switzerland is convenient but expensive. It is recommended to buy a Swiss-Pass as it offers unlimited travel (on buses, trams, rail, boats, cablecars) around the entire Switzerland and 25-50% off on special trains or cable cars. All the trips above are included in the Swiss-Pass except for the train up to Jungfraujoch. Do download the SBB CFF FFS app as it plans your journeys well and also tells you which platform the train will be departing from.
